Best cycling routes in Mallorca in spring

But really, any time of the year is ideal for enjoying the cycling routes in Mallorca that we've outlined below, although spring does seem like the most perfect time. The weather is nice, there aren't as many tourists, and you can fully enjoy the roads, the landscapes and the unique scenery as you pedal. There are routes of varying difficulties for all levels.

1ª Route:

One of the hardest is Sa Calobra, a route with a distance of 125 km km, from Binissalem to Sa Calobra, passing through Soller and with 3,060 metres of elevation gain. It passes through the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, which makes it ideal for expert cyclists.

2ª Route:

Sa Calobra is one of the best routes in the world, but if you are looking for something a little less demanding the Palma - Santuari de cura de cura route is also physically demanding, with 61 km and an elevation gain of 630 metres. At the top, in the sanctuary, you can find spectacular views of the badia of Palma and have a drink in the sanctuary cafe.

3ª Route:

At a more intermediate level is the route through Felanitx - Platges de Muro, with 64km and 1,000 metres of elevation gain, albeit with a couple of pretty difficult sections. The hardest section goes from Vilafranca de Bonany to Sineu.
